Bukit Batok Nature Park

Encounter this Red-necked Bronzeback looking for prey. It is quite commonly spotted in Singapore.

 Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.

A small hilly park situated adjacent to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. About 100 species have been recorded including Lineated Barbet, Blue-tailed Bee-eater (m), Glossy Swiftlet, Crested Honey Buzzard, Grey-headed Fish Eagle*, Common Iora, Oriental Magpie-robin, White-crested Laughingthrush, Straw-headed Bulbul**, Little Spiderhunter, Purple-throated Sunbird, and Scarlet-backed, Orange-bellied, Yellow-vented and Thick-billed Flowerpeckers.
